  • 1.  Search Catalog partially working

    I am unable to find services / service offerings when using the main Search Catalog search. I cannot find a pattern as to why certain words work, but others do not. It seems to looking at both the Offering Name and Description... ?

    Any advice? Did I miss a checkbox upon creation of services?

    Hi,

     

    Do you have some examples of words that do/don't work for you? Also, what release are you seeing this problem on? There's a fix for searches not returning data when the keywords contain a number in 14.1.02 Incremental 2 that may be relevant.

    Some words that do not work include - server, device, provisioning, new, request

    Words that do work include - user, hire, access, logical

     

    One of our services includes almost all of those words too.

     

    We are running 14.1

     

    None of our services have numbers in there names or descriptions.

    This can be caused by errors in the Import utility. Reach out to Support, they have a testfix for this.
