    I have a customer who has a systems lock down for a period of time, they want ALL tickets to go through CAB approval for this time period. Is there a way to best achieve this? Suggestions and brainstorming is appreciated.

    Hi Maria,

    So in this case, I am not sure how you would trigger the CAB to be in play only when there is a code lock-down happening, but not otherwise.  I dont think there is a way for the system to be able to determine when or when not to use CAB based on timing.   This would most likely be an enhancement which you can raise an idea for right here on the community.  Then folks can vote for it and product management will review it for consideration in future releases.

    Hi Maria,

     

    If you are triggering a PAM process for the ticket approval this should be a fairly easy task to accomplish.  The PAM process first checks the state of the server (stored in a confi file or in the DB) and then triggers the appropriate approval process.
