Subject: General Availability Announcement for CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.1.4 capabilities

Today, we are pleased to announce that CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.1.4 capabilities are now available.
New features include:
· Improved Demand Manipulation for Microsoft Windows Server Metric Engines: In previous releases, it was only possible to influence the license demand for entire topologies via metric engine hints. The new extension of the Microsoft Windows Server metric engines adds more flexibility by enabling hints for individual devices.
· New SAML Authentication Method: In addition to NTLM and LDAP, the application now supports the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) data format, an XML-based open-standard authentication method.
· New Standard Connectors:
nova ratio eInventory: imports devices, device topologies, raw software data, and Oracle usage data into the application.
IBM BigFix Inventory 9.2: imports devices, device topologies and raw software data based on the import preprocessor ibm_bfi into the application.
· Microsoft Office 365: Office 365 is group of software and services subscriptions, which provide productivity software and related services to subscribers. With this connector, the different subscription plans and related license data can be extracted from the Microsoft Office 365 admin portal in a format that can then be imported into the application.
