  • 1.  Line wrap up in text area field in USS

    Hi All,

     

       We have a text area field in service catalog form. When we prode some input in test from catalog after completing the first line it automatic moves to the next row.

    But if we try to fill the form through USS, it does not line wrap instead it just keep going infinite to the right. We don't want scroll bar at the bottom of the text area.

    Please help me to make the scroll bar at the right side of the text area field in USS.

    Hi Vikash.

     

    A preliminary test on my local server shows the 'line wrap' worls in both the SC-UI and the USS-UI for a 'Text Area' component on an SC-Form.

    Please apply the latest patches for both SC R14.1 and USS R14.1 and see it is working as such.

    Another relevant question to ask is which browser you are using?

    Is it IE11 or Chrome? Or another one?

    Hi Louis,

     

      I have applied the CP2 patch on both servers. Do we need to apply CP3 patch?

    Apart from this we are using IE11.

    Good Morning Vikash.

     

    Thanks for your response and with the IE11 browser, I can reproduce this then locally too.

    And while researching, I found possible test fix(es) to resolve this.

    The next steps then are:

    1. For you to open a regular case in our CA Support Online system.

    2. And you let me know which case# for this.

    3. And I will then add my search results to this case accordingly.
