When an user logs into SDM web interface, and if the user has mutiple roles, SDM logs him in using the role he was on last time

he was in web interface. Can someone explain how SDM knows this?

    Hi Chi,

After a user logs in, he may be able to change their current role. Whenever a user does this and subsequently logs out, the "web_role_id" column for the corresponding contact entry in the "usp_preferences" table is updated with the current role. When the same user logs in again, the role is set to the saved "web_role_id" rather than to the default role for the Access type. You may follow the steps from TEC549501 to change this behavior.

    Thanks,

    Naveen
