    Hi,

     

    Issue is appearing for CA Service Catalog while establishing email connection. Below are the log details


    2015/03/10 15.20.34.116 ERROR [http-8080-4] [EmailRequest] SendFailedException 530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated

     

    2015/03/10 15.22.26.003 ERROR [http-8080-4] [WPFEngine] Unknown device

    2015/03/10 15.22.32.337 ERROR [http-8080-4] [EmailRequest] SendFailedException 530 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated

    Hi Mohit,

     

    What is the version of catalog and its patch level? Once I was able replicate this error in house. That was because of  not updating the email address within the user profile. You may verify this and also ensure the email address is a valid and you are send emails via Outlook.

    the issue is resolved now by adding the ip addresses to the server in what is called a netscaller
