    Posted Aug 06, 2014 06:13 PM

Is not possible to do the Post-Installation Step 5-d. Don't have the file at the folder

        d. Update the usp_pdmMacro and usp_pdmMacroParam tables by running

the following commands on the command prompt:

       pdm_load -i -f data_USRD_2601_INSERT.dat

       pdm_load -u -f data_USRD_2601_UPDATE.dat

       pdm_load -i -f data_USRD_2789_INSERT.dat

       pdm_load -u -f data_USRD_2789_UPDATE.dat

    Anyone have the same problem?

    Hi Andrade,

Did you install the CUM1 Languages Patch (RO72249 for Windows)? If not, you need to install it

After you apply this, you will need to apply the relevant Language Specific patch that unpacked as part of RO72249 e.g. RO72247.CAZ for English.(Check the patch notes for RO72249)

After you apply this you should see those missing files in the NX_ROOT\Patches\cum1 folder.

    I hope that this helps.

    Hello Gordon,

I already did that. I followed all the steps and don¹t have this file.

My environment are using Brazilian Portuguese, maybe the problem is only

    with my language.

    Hi Andrade,

You presumably applied RO72257 for Brazilian Portugese.

I just uncompressed this caz file and I see the .dat files are present but it may be that they are not copied to the cum1 folder when you run applyptf. I don't have a Brazilian Portugese system to test on.

You could run the pdm_load commands from the folder where you uncompressed RO72257.caz.

You may want to open an issue with support for this so it can be tested in-house to see if it's a problem with the install process for your language.

    Regards,

    Gordon.

    Hi andrade,

You need 2 steps to finish applying lanuage patch.

The 1st step only extract the specific lanuages patches, and on 2nd step, you select the proper launage patch to apply.

For your case, you apply RO72249 first, and then you can find and apply RO72257 for Brazilian Portugese.

Only after apply RO72257, you can see the *.dat files.

    Regards,
    Mark

When you applied RO72257, were any errors received at all? From what I can see in the .jcl packaged in RO72257 it should be deploying the files as follows:

    FILE:patches\cum1\data_USRD_2601_INSERT.dat:NEWFILE:

    FILE:patches\cum1\data_USRD_2601_UPDATE.dat:NEWFILE:

    FILE:patches\cum1\data_USRD_2738.dat:NEWFILE:

    FILE:patches\cum1\data_USRD_2748.dat:NEWFILE:

    FILE:patches\cum1\data_USRD_2789_UPDATE.dat:NEWFILE:

    FILE:patches\cum1\data_USRD_2789_INSERT.dat:NEWFILE:

One thing I'd be interested in is if the .HIS file in your ServiceDesk directory is updating to state that these files are deployed, you may want to check there.

Also I wonder if there is a possibility of a Operating System rights issue, perhaps the account being used to apply the patch doesn't have the ability to add new files to the ServiceDesk install folder. Perhaps it may be worthwhile to reapply the patch, but run Applyptf "As Administrator".
