    End of Service Announcement for CA Business Service Insight 8.11

      

    CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In accordance with our CA Support Policy and Terms (https://support.ca.com/), please consider this letter your written notification that we are discontinuing support for CA Business Service Insight 8.11 beginning June 10, 2015.  This will allow our Development organization to more effectively focus its resources on and add value to the next release of Business Service Insight. 

    At this time, we encourage you to plan for the migration to Business Service Insight 8.3 as soon as possible, so you can take full advantage of the latest new features and enhancements this release has to offer.  New features for CA Business Service Insight r8.3  include:

    Context Object

    Expanding the Context object functionality inside the business logic, adding the ability of retrieving all related resource types for given resource id in a given time

    Auto Complete at Login

    Security enhancement at login phase, disabling autocomplete password when providing user name.

    Adapter configuration

    Support the use of events based on adapter configuration file from different adapter

    Monitoring tool for ACE2

    New page showing the status of calculation and ongoing work of the ACE2 engine

    Error handling improvements

    Additional information provided when committing a contract and during translation script execution
