This solution is supported. You will need to use a Network Profile discovery to discover the vCenter or ESX host given the proper VMWare credentials entered in the credential vault. Make sure in the network profile to use a scan policy using the softagent.
After discovery you should notice the vCenter, ESX, and VMs also get populated into CCA. Each of these discovered hosts should contain the Virtual Relationship listed in the Relationships tab.
For exporting relationships, make sure to use an SDM attribute profile that includes the Virtual Relationships checkbox option.
