  • 1.  WMI Discovery - Access Denied

    Hello

     

    I am having an issue with WMI Discovery with Microsoft Server, the escenario is the following:

     

    - I already tested the WMI Credential with "Webemtest.exe" and the user and password is OK.

    - When I Run the process with CCA, appear an error message "Acces Denied".

     

    What other thing can I do to validate a correct environment configuration.

    Please confirm that when you ran the wbemtest, that you did to form the CCA Server (or Grid Node Server if you have one)

     

    Also, the credentials specified, is it in proper domain\user format?

    Thanks for your quick answer, CCA is installed with the all service in one server, so the wbemtest was done inte CCA Server with GNS, related to the account I dident use that formato, so now i am going to use that formato.

    Hi Adnan

     

    The Workaround was add the user to the local administrator in the AD Policy over the respective server. 

     

    So my counterquestion is, what are the privilege`s requeriment for the user to allow the discovery and gather wmi inventory?
