APM Send Mail action TLS with authentication

Hi All,
our customer need to implement a alert mail action in SMPT authenticated and encrypted.
I remember that Connecting to an SMTP server with user/password authentication is not currently possible from the Webview UI.
A possible work around for this this issue is  adding the following JVM arguments to the  lax.nl.java.option.additional property in the <EM_HOME>/Introscope_Enterprise_Manager.lax file:

-DsmtpTestingUserId=<UserID> -DsmtpTestingPassword=<Password> 

The problem is that this workaround requires plan password and the customer probably will not accept. 

Is there another solution, a supported powerpack available?
