  • 1.  SDK For custom TypeViewer (SDKTypeViewer plugin)

    Posted Apr 04, 2012 04:41 AM
    Hello

If someone wants to create custom typeviewers with introscope 9.1, this is a plugin : SDKTypeViewerCustom.jar (validated by CA plugin team) to put in the EM directory EM_HOME/ws-plugins. This plugin SDKTypeViewerCustom.jar will be used in the workstation to create typeviewer or update an existing typeviewer.

    2 options are availabled :
    - working in local
    - working on the EM. The typeviewers are located in EM_HOME/ext/xmltv or EM_HOME/ext/ddtv

When the typewiew is ready, the typeview must be put in in the EM in the directory EM_HOME/ext/xmltv or EM_HOME/ext/ddtv.

    A clarification to this post:

This EM plug-in does NOT create a Java plug-in. It does help to validate your TypeViewer XML and how it will be rendered on the workstation client.

For help with creating TypeViewers, refer to the documentation in the Community Documents.

If you're interested in seeing a presentation on creating TypeViewers, please let the board members know by posting your suggestions.

    Morning,

Is the XMLTypeViewsSDK-WS.jar compatible with the 9.5 & 9.6 releases?

    Thanks, JW

    Yes it should still work.

Place the extension in the usual place. For any workstation side plugins, place them in <em_home>/ws-plugins.

Otherwise, you will still need to install a workstation side plugin in your local workstation directory.
