  • 1.  diskStats.pl script for redhat server

    Hi All,

     

    I am using Epagent 10.7 version. I got a default script with diskStats.pl. But while I am running this script I am getting below error.

     

    perl diskStats.pl

    Usage: iostat [ options ] [ [ ] ]

    Options are:

    [ -c ] [ -d ] [ -N ] [ -n ] [ -h ] [ -k | -m ] [ -t ] [ -V ] [ -x ] [ -y ] [ -z ]

    [ -j { ID | LABEL | PATH | UUID | ... } [ [...] | ALL ] ] [ [...] | ALL ]

    [ -p [ [,...] | ALL ] ]

     

    While running the script through introscope properties file , we are getting below error.

    Can someone let me know if we can use this script on redhat server.

    Hi Vivek,

    Could it be the OS version in use?

    As far as I know this plugin is supported in Win and Sol

    Standalone EPAgent Default Plug-in Metrics - CA Application Performance Management - 10.7 - CA Technologies Documentatio… 

     

    From https://github.com/CA-APM/  I see there are modified version of this script available for other OS

    Hopefully one of them will help you,

    Hello Sergio,

     

    Thanks  !!! . Now I am able to monitor disk utilization of the server.

     

    Similarly could you please let me know the where I will get the script to monitor CPU utilization.

    My repo has an updated vmstat plugin for RHEL available. This repo is the original set that is forked to CA APM.
