    Hi,

    I'm getting some weird behavior in a customer's APM. Every night they restart the servers where the apps live. After restart EM don't be able to collect metrics until restart EM, then metrics appears again.

    In agent's log I've found this,

    11/15/17 09:38:42 PM ART [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] The Introscope Enterprise Manager (MOM) does not have an available Collector.
    11/15/17 09:38:42 PM ART [WARN] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] Failed to connect to the Introscope Enterprise Manager at 10.241.163.132:5001,com.wily.isengard.postofficehub.link.net.DefaultSocketFactory (10).
    11/15/17 09:38:42 PM ART [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] The Agent will continue to attempt to connect to Introscope Enterprise Manager. Further failures will not be logged.
    11/15/17 09:38:52 PM ART [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] The Introscope Enterprise Manager (MOM) does not have an available Collector.
    11/15/17 09:39:02 PM ART [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] The Introscope Enterprise Manager (MOM) does not have an available Collector.
    11/15/17 09:39:12 PM ART [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] The Introscope Enterprise Manager (MOM) does not have an available Collector.

    11/15/17 09:39:43 PM ART [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] The Introscope Enterprise Manager (MOM) does not have an available Collector.
    11/15/17 09:39:53 PM ART [INFO] [IntroscopeAgent.ConnectionThread] The Introscope Enterprise Manager (MOM) does not have an available Collector.

    despite in IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.properties I have set this propertie in this way

    introscope.enterprisemanager.clustering.mode=StandAlone.

    Any clue will be apreciatte.

    Regards.-

    Then you have a cluster performance issue likely. Take a look at perflog.txt and see if you can correlate a spike to the EM behavior.

    If you have trouble identifying the issue, please open a ticket.

    Do you have introscope.enterprisemanager.clustering.login set in the EM properties file?
