I am integrating CA APM (10.3) with CA EEM (12.5) version.
Unable to login into APM .
Please guide me in integrating CA APM with CA EEM.
For integration, i am following this guide
CA Tuesday Tip: EEM for APM Important Reminders
But unable to integrate EEM with APM
Here in EEM, APM is not coming in drop-down.
Have you altered the file at all from its original configuration in the "examples" directory under the Enterprise Manager?
Did Lynn's response help resolve this issue and the thread may be marked as answered? Or do you have additional questions/need additional assistance/ Please let us know
safex command has run successfully by placing the register file in safex directory.
Application name is added to EEM.
Now working on next steps & will update for next steps.
Thanks to all
Thanks for your update and glad to hear of your success. Marking your response as the answer.
It sounds like you may have not run the Safex scripts to register the APM resources into the EEM instance?
This section of the wiki has more details of the complete process to secure Introscope with EEM
Securing Introscope using CA EEM - CA Application Performance Management - 10.3 - CA Technologies Documentation
Hope that helps. If not please let us know.
Yes i have altered the file configuration in examples directory.
In executing safex command, getting error message.
Screenshot of error message is attached.
Please suggest the next steps for resolving the error.
Thanks for your response.
Thanks alot ..
I have run the safex command, but showing error.
Due to this error APM is not coming in EEM window
Please suggest me for successful integration.
Thanks for quick response.
Try using the default one
Also ensure that eem.register.app.xml is in that directory you are running safex from. If not, you must specify the path.
See my last note where I ask to turn on the -v flag and see if it is a permissions error
It looks like spaces in the full path (-f parameter) caused that error.
Please use double quotes around the full path file name for the -f parameter
I see two other instances of this error. It appears to be a permissions error. Can you add the -v flag (verbose) and see what additional information appears ?
Safex Command Line Reference - CA Embedded Entitlements Manager - 12.51 - CA Technologies Documentation
Running the safex from the same directory and it worked.
But throwing error
Please guide me for next steps.
