CEM - Previous Month's Report v10.1

Customer has a question on what it means when they use CEM to pull reports for different time frame. When someone generates a report for "Previous Month", does that mean that it will pull previous calendar month's report or will date past 30 days report?

 

E.g.

If someone pulls a report on June 3rd for previous month......will it pull a report for May3-Jun2 or will it pull a report for the month of May (calendar month)?

Hi Manish,

 

Default Time Frames

Daily: Today, Yesterday

Weekly: Current Week, Previous Week

Monthly: Current Month, Previous Month

Yearly: Current Year, Previous Year

 

Custom Time Frames

Custom Day: Any day in the last 30 days

Custom Week: Any week in the last year

Custom Month: Any month in the last two years

 

So the Previous Month and Last 30 days are different.

Previous based on calendar , vs past 30 days

same goes to "Yesterday"  and "Last 24 hours"

I couldn't agree more. A thorough tech doc explaining in details the nuances of CEM Reporting would be a great resource for customers.

I thought that a good enhancement to set up custom ranges

- Examples -- your business quarter is not the last three months, college semesters, etc.

 

This gets into the area of semi-canned reports where the report is mostly canned but you have some customization possible
