Is there an ACC agent that can run on zLinux (s390x SUSE Linux 11.x/12.x)?

    Hi,

ACC is officially supported on RedHat and compatible Linux variants, Windows, AIX and Solaris. See ACC Installation Prerequisites. We probably have not tested it with s390x SUSE Linux.

Just try the Linux agent controller from your ACC server. It is located in the APMCommandCenterServer\package directory. It might not be 100% compatible with SUSE on zOS but as it is Java it should just work.

    Please post your experience here!

    Ciao,

    Hey there,

We do not have or ship a Controller for zLinux at this point in time.

However the Controller is “just” a java process, and it can certainly be made to work on zLinux, we’ll probably not be able to help you a lot, but the chances for it to work are very high I would say, so probably worth a try.

If you ever manage to do it, I’ll be certainly interested in your findings/what you had to do to make it work/what’s working and what’s not working properly.

    Thx,

    Florian.
