  • 1.  Metrics in Browser Agent based on query parameter

    Posted Jul 28, 2016 08:11 AM

    Hi Team,

I have configured browser agent in CA APM 10.2. The jsp pages are displayed under the Business Segment node in Introscope. When i hit some urls in application only PAGEID and other query parameters changes and jsp page remains same. So in browser agent only the jsp pages are displaying. can i configure the browser agent for these pages also on the based of queries like PAGEID, JSESSION etc?

Please help me how can i obtain the metrics of these pages.

    Regards,

    Vinay Chaudhary

    Hi Gustavo,

In this scenario there is no CEM recording of transactions. Because one of Cipher used in application is not supported by TIM.

Any other solution I can try with Browser Agent to get these url's metrics.

    Regards,

    Vinay

    Hi Vinay,

For the actual Business Segment node enhanced categorised view you don't need to be using a TIM to record/monitor your BTs i.e, you just manually create a BT in CEM that matches the URL being monitored by Browser Agent.

This section of the wiki has more details: Business Transaction Naming

It also references : For more information about CEM and the Browser Agent, see TEC1845554.

    Hope that helps

    Regards,

    Lynn
