         Can you clarify your the scope of your question?

         If you want to know what a Servlet is then see Java servlet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

         If you want to know how APM processes services and the metrics that are captured, then perform a search such as Search Results - CA Application Performance Management - 10.2 - CA Technologies Documentation
