APM Opportunity - Log aggregation

I think CA has tremendous opportunity to leverage the existing and prospective market with the APM solution.

 

1. The APM solution is established amongst platinum accounts.
2. The agent is installed out there to proactively monitor resources and performance.  So it exists.
3. There is a profit and market opportunity for log aggregation from proprietary and open source implementations like Splunk.

 

How hard would it be to turn the agent into a log aggregator as well? 

 

Ca might be able to use its footprint and relationships to compete in this area.
