Mobile App Analytics Freemium is scheduled for a planned upgrade from 15.2 to 15.4 release around 05:30Hrs PST (08:30 Hrs EST) on November 13, 2015. The service may be down for about four hours.

 

A lots of new features that helps you gain visual insights on User Behavior & UX with App Screens, App Flows are highlights with this addition.

 

The list of new features & issues resolved will be available on our Release Notes once the upgrade is complete.

Good Morning everyone,

I having problems to wrap a hybrid app in Android, the process finish without problem, but when i try to execute the app in the phone or virtual machine, the app crash show me the message "Unfortunately, ...... has stopped".

I try with other apps, they was not give me problems in the past, but now, the apps have the same problem.

I am using the manual wrapped (wrap.sh), because i don't have the code of the apps.

Please can you help me?

Hi Martin,

 

If its a Cordova/PhoneGap app, ensure you have used the android-cordova.xml for wrapping.

Please refer to the Wrapper Utility section in the below link and follow the steps mentioned. Let us know if you still find the issue.

Good morning,

Yes, It is a cordova app, and i use the android-cordova.xml file, but the problem persist.

Also i checked if there are the correct permissions in the AndroidManifest.xml file.

Can you attach apk file , or is it some app on playstore that you can refer to ?.

We can troubleshoot it on what is going on with app .

I looked into the issue,but its working fine for me using 15.2.2 as well as 15.4 SDK.

 

Only diff I noticed is on 15.2.2 following exception ( but it did not crash the app ) :

                         E  java.io.FileNotFoundException: https://www.telefonicamovistar.com.pe/ColProxyAppMB/GestorHome/ObtenerHome/1/Android

                         E      at com.android.okhttp.internal.http.HttpURLConnectionImpl.getInputStream(HttpURLConnectionImpl.java:206)

                         E      at com.android.okhttp.internal.http.DelegatingHttpsURLConnection.getInputStream(DelegatingHttpsURLConnection.java:210)

 

On 15.4 its not throwing this error which looks like  AJAX request which we are able to intercept properly in 15.4

 

But in either case app is not crashing, I doubt if you made some syntax error or JS file dependency related error when using JS Integration.

 

Please send me your version of wrapped apk ( the one in which you have added code & JS, HTML ) to verify.

I used apk you gave me and I noticed its integrated with CaMDOIntegration.js in indexApp.js and in SALogin.js

 

I wrapped this with SDK 15.2.1 and able to see all transactions session and screenshots without a problem. I am testing it on device (Samsung S5 : Android 5.0 ) .

 

I am not able to reproduce the problem you are facing, incase you are trying on emulator would you please check on device and If you see same issue with device would please send device log ( by using command : adb logcat ) that will help me to reproduce issue.
