Memory is not released! (Memória não é liberada)

I have two Collectors and MOM,

 

When I has generated the report through the Report Template, the collectors use a lot of RAM. After generating the report, I have waited 10 minutes, but the memory was not released. And when I'll generate the next report, the memory is all consumed and the following error occurs:

Error during generate report.

 

I have 40+ agents and each Collector has: 16G RAM, 13G Heap, 2048m PermGen.

Quando gero relatório por meio do Report Template, os coletores de usam uma grande quantidade de memória RAM. Depois de gerar o relatório, eu esperei 10 minutos, mas a memória não foi liberada. E quando vou gerar o próximo relatório, a memória é toda consumida e ocorre o seguinte erro:

Erro durante a geração do relatório.

Some questions:

- What release are you running for the EMs and the agents (For the majority).

- How many collectors do you have? What operating are they?

- Is this a recent issue with this report or has it happened before?

- Are they Java or .Net agents mostly or a mix?

- Can you provide details on the type of report that you  are running?

 

i do not see the error message above in Portuguese or English.

1- version 10.1.0.15

2- two collectors

3- Has it happened before

4- Java

5- several metrics

 

The error is: error generating the report!

To add to Hal's questions,

 

1. What are you including in the report?

2. Does this happen with all reports or just this one?

3. If you create a copy of that report and remove some elements, does the problem go away?

Answers:

 

1-There are several metrics, including some not appear because it exceeds the limit.

2-the problem is most likely because the memory. When generate the first report, the consumption of machine memory increases and then is not released, and when I generate the next report the error occurs (error generating the report).

3-I believe that has a lot of data, and if I make a copy and remove some elements might even solve. But the problem is the memory that is not released.

Hi Henrique,

 

Thanks for the info.  Can you share a screenshot of where you see the memory not being released?  My third point above was to see what was causing the memory to not be released.  If it is a lot of data in the report, then that would be what is causing it. 

 

But if you could show us 2 screenshots of the memory before you generate the report and after you generate the report that would help.
