Has anyone used the agentConnectionStatus as regular expression to call status of different nodes within application?

    I need the syntax for calling regular expression for different nodes within JVM application to check connection status. See the example below on how to set the regular expression:

    // Tell the EM what agents we should match against

    function getAgentRegex()

    {

        return "servernames*.*node1*.*| node2*.* |node3.* " ;

    }

    or I need to use this syntax

    // Tell the EM what agents we should match against

    function getAgentRegex()

    {

        return "servernames*.*(node1.*|node2.*|node3.*)";

    }

    Please help

    To specify all agents, you would use

    .*\|.*\|.*

    which is basically

    HostName|ProcessName|Agent

    So if you have Myagent1 and Myagent2 and want to include both of those regardless of where they reside, you would use:

    .*\|.*\|Myagent.*

    Hi Daniel:

    Please let us know if Matt's note answers the question or if you have anything else to discuss on this issue.

    Thanks
