  • 1.  After Fresh installation of TIM packet data is not capturing on TIM UI

    Previously the TIM 9.5 was installed and after that we have installed the TIM 10.0 version freshly.

     

    In the previous version we are able to see the packet data.Now i'm not able to see the Packet data on TIM UI in TIM 10.0.

     

    OS: Redhat 6.6 we are using.

     

    Can you please help me out to resolve the issue.

    Hi: What message are in your apmpacket and tim log on starting. Is there an interface in your interfacefilters.xml? What do the install logs show?

    Hello:

    Yeah one interface is there o\in interfacefilters.xml (eth1).

    In apmpacket log im able to see "

    Hi: It appears that you are capturing traffic per the TIM logs on worker 1 and worker 3. If you have not already, please open a case to analyze further as to the root cause Thanks Hal German

    Hello ,

     

    This issue got resolved.

     

    RCA: protocolstats  and protocolstats1 files are not having the execution permissions.

    So we have given the permissions the issue got resolved.

    drwxr-xr-x 2 root   root       4096 May 20 00:10 protocolstats

    drwxr-xr-x 2 root   root       4096 May 20 00:10 protocolstats1
