Team -  We need the list of all possible metrics that are available through APM Power Pack For SiteMinder Manager. Please share any useful documentation related to this.

"CA APM Manager for CA SSO (CA Wily Manager for - MULTI-PLATFORM)" is the new product name

The Download Center page for the product has "CA APM Manager for CA SSO Documentation r12.0.4.0" (GEN04150154E.zip) which gives CAWilySiteMinderManager_12.0.4.0_Documentation.pdf where Appendix A discusses the metrics. Uploaded here as well.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Lynn, i just looked at doc you attached.

Does the "Power Pack for CA SSO" offers any additional metrics on top the base (default) metrics that APM SiteMinder Manager offers ?

Sorry, I actually misinterpreted your first request thinking it was the CA Wily Manager for SiteMinder you had already installed.

The APM PP for SiteMinder metrics Appendix can be found under this 9.5 Bookshelf link: https://support.ca.com/cadocs/1/CA%20Application%20Performance%20Management%209%205-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/HTML/APM_9.5--APM%20for%20SiteMinder%20Application%20Server%20Agents%20Guide/1539447.html

(The 9.6/9.7/10.0 wiki refs do not seem to have them any more)

Yes the APM Manager for CA SSO/SiteMinder product is directly integrated into the SiteMinder Web Agent & Policy Server products & does give you more metrics than the APM PP for SiteMinder e.g. Cookies & URLs for the Web Agent, Policy Server metrics & OS Monitor metrics. It is a separately licensed product.

KB TEC1748604 (Comparison of APM Siteminder solutions) describes the SiteMinder solutions available: http://www.ca.com/us/support/ca-support-online/product-content/knowledgebase-articles/tec1748604.aspx

    FYI

The wikis will be changed to have them added back.

    Hi Lynn.

We are trying to monitor our Siteminder and i tried to install CA APM Manager for CA SSO Installer for Windows 64-bit r12.0.4.0 but It didn't  give me any option to install any component for Policy Server. I only got Web Agent monitor, OS monitor and Siteminder Mgt Module componets. Am is missing something?

    Hi,

It would be better to start new posts about these things but because Policy Server is always a 32-bit process, you need the 32-bit installer to install Policy Server components.

    Thanks,

    David
