Is there any blog/community where resolutions of performance issues found such as a memory leak/cpu bottleneck or any other issues are discussed where the issue was found using Wily and the thought process is explained?

I am looking for any blog/community that discusses performance issues various teams are facing and how Wily is being used to find those issues.

As at my work place I am using CA wily for performance monitoring and would love to learn and use better ways of identifying potential problems.

    Hi,

While there is no specific community dealing with such troubleshooting methodology using Wily APM ,you might be able to find some information in the older community threads as well as community best practice documents, however there is no single approach that fits all kind of scenarios. Starting with APM 10 we are however making this troubleshooting process easier and making the tool do all the work for you to bubble up potential problems and correlate that with any changes if happened during that time. Idea is instead of APM user trying to look for problems, system automatically detects those and then highlights it on the UI so user can further deep dive and determine the root cause.

There are 3 specific features designed to do this in APM 10:

    • Team Center Perspectives let you create task-relevant views based on attributes important to a specific role or immediate task such as location, business unit or application component.
    • Team Center Timeline visually depicts changes in app environments so teams can quickly identify when and where changes occurred along with the resulting service impact so DevOps teams receive recommended fixes in real time.
    • Differential Analysis helps you quickly recognize problems as they develop and intuitively understand the most critical and recurrent problems across your application landscape—with no configuration required

Please check out below threads for more details and APM 10 demo

    Hope this helps.
