  • 1.  Can we monitor IBM Load Balancer Edge Component 7.0.0.24 with APM?

    Is there a Power Pack or EPAgent monitor the performance of this Load Balancer?

     

    If there is a way to get metrics from logs it coud be helpfull.

    Hi Hallet,

     

    Thank you for your answer, we need to know the server health and the estatus of the load balance process. basically:

    - Load balancer availability.

    - Dispatcher availability.

    - CPU and memory of the load balancer.

    - Number of requests errors 40x an 50x.

    - Number of requests handled.

    - Number of requests sent by server.

    - Number of bytes recieved.

    - Number of bytes sent.

    Hi Rodrigo:

          I don't see this answered,I see some of these metrics listed in the EPAgent Guide -- EPAgent Default Plug-in Metrics - CA Application Performance Management - 10.1 - CA Technologies Documentation

     

         Your best bet would be trying to build and EPAgent and try to see what you can/can't capture. If you run into issues doing this, you can ask additional questions on the Community or open a Support case
