CA is not able to maintain the Smartstor database.SmartstorTools is not cleaning up anything. The size of the store is 40 GB even after prune option is used.
I followed the guidelines CA Support gave me but nothing changed after 7 hours of operation.
Just a waste of time.
CA APM is not able to handle the workload in our environment.
I'm asked to select metrics from a pool of millions of metrics. This is not a solution, it is a problem itself.
I want to backup the current smartstor files and create a new one.
What is the procedure for this?
I am 200 percent sure these tools are working and it removes the data. I usually run smartstor pruning on multiple environments on multiple times as well.
Can you post the screenshots/steps here you tried? I will have a look and let you know what could have been wrong.
