We are also interested by the monitoring of Hyperion (Weblogic 11g) with CA APM - Introscope. Any feedback?

Check the Compatibility Guide for the version you have deployed to see if WebLogic 11g is supported.

If so, then deploy Java WebLogic agents as normal to instrument the application server.

Check the vendor documentation concerning any MBeans that should be monitored as part of the agent configuration.

Hi Davis, thanks for your answer.

Actually I checked compatibility between introscope agent and Weblogic application server and they are compatible.

    • Hyperion has differents modules, for example:
      planning
      financial
profitability, and each module has your own java script to start.

Also there is another java script to start the Weblogic application server.

My doubt here is, in which one java script I have to insert the line that refers to introscope agent.

    Thanks in advance.

    Apology for the inconveniences.

I would assume the one that is used to start an application server instance. I don't have a WLS instance built, so I can't tell you for sure.

You would probably be better off to follow the directions in the Java Agent Guide on how to integrate the agent into WLS because it's more than just the runtime parameters. You also need to create a startup class.
