Trigger response without any request

Hi,

I have to trigger a response without any request.

I have to extract a response from a database and need to trigger that after EOD. How can i acheive this?

Please help me to find out the solution.

1. Write a testcase that queries the database then does a REST of Webservice Call
2. Deploy your testcase in CVS (Continuous Validation Service) to run at the requested timeslot
