  • 1.  How to see the reports generated after running a suite in DevTest

    Posted Jul 12, 2018 04:11 AM

    Hi Team,

I created a test suite with 5 test cases and selected the option "Deploy as monitor to CVS". One dialog box appeared where I entered suite name, notify email, start time, stop time etc. I clicked on Deploy button .Then opened CVS. But I see only blank page.Where can I see the results. Is there anywhere a report is generated to see how many test cases passed and how many failed? Please help me. I want reporting of this results.

    Hi Johny,

What version of DevTest are you using?
I think your environment seems to have a problem by your sentence "Then opened CVS. But I see only blank page."

But normally, you can see the test(or suite) reports like these steps:
    1. Login to DevTest Portal
    2. Select Reporting->Test at the left menu bar
    3. New tab apprear and you can see the several report names
    4. Select one of them (example. "Suite execution detail") and you can see the suite result

But if you have problems by following these steps upper, then please open a support case with your DevTest Version.

    Thank you,

    Hi Yusuke,

    Thanks,

When I used https instead of http , I got the below page.. But even after the test executed, it is still in Blue colour which means expired (if I m correct). Why the status is not getting completed?

    Hi Johny,

I think it is very hard to see the "Completed" status which service has the "One Time" timing in CVS.
But if the service has the "Every ... " timing, then you can see the "Completed" status like below:

    Thank you,

    Hi,

    Thanks.

Then how can I get a report with all the status so that I can give to my client?

    Hi Johny,

Do you mean general reports in DevTest Portal?
If "yes", then I already mentioned in my first comment:
    1. Login to DevTest Portal
    2. Select Reporting->Test at the left menu bar
    3. New tab apprear and you can see the several report names
    4. Select one of them (example. "Suite execution detail") and you can see the suite result

Please read this link:Testing Execution Reports

If you do not like these reports in the manual, then please create an idea in this communities and describe the design of your new report.

    Thank you,
