Anyone tried New Relic JVM monitor/anlyzer with DevTest?

Having no luck getting javaagent to run at startup, so JVM just exits.

All DevTest components already have a JVM monitoring agent installed and therefore will not allow another one to be added. To use the agent already installed, see the Server Health section of the Portal.

I take it CAI is a separately purchased component? I've seen it in passing but never paid close attention.
