On validating a virtual service, while clicking on the Test script of an Execute (JSR-223) step, I am getting the following error:

"No Engine registered for language [Beanshell]"

When I change the scripting language to Groovy, the same error is displayed.

Please find attached the screenshot of the error for further details.

Could anyone help to find out what this issue is?

Hum.  Which version of DevTest are you seeing this issue on?

Also, do you have any custom JAR files in hotdeploy, lib or lib/shared?

As a simple test, shut down Workstation and delete the lisatmp_x_x_x (where x is your version #) directory.  Then, restart DevTest.  Does the issue go away?  Sorry, I know you will lose all of your prefs, but I would be curious to know if that solves the problem.

From the screenshot, it looks like its 9.1 workstation.

    Hi Joel

The DevTest version is 9.1.I tried deleteing the LISAtemp folder under my name after shutting down my workstation. But the error still persists.

Also when I open the virtual service model, I get the following error:

"Could not find Language provider for 'BeanShell'.Please ensure the required jar(s) are in the classpath".

OK, thank you.  I believe you should open a ticket with CA Support.

I saw only once that deleting lisatmp resolved this issue.
