  • 1.  Details documentation description of the DB tables.

    Hello Team,

     

    We started working with the SQL database,

     

    the client requests a detailed description of the tables that was created using the DDL files in the folder

    {LISA_HOME} / database.

     

     

    Is there any documentation describing the table of DB?

    If you are looking for a description of every column in every table, I don't believe that such a thing exists. At least not in the official user documentation. Of course, some of the columns should be self explanatory based on the name.

    Please fee free to ask if you have any questions regarding the tables and what they are used for. Most of the Table names explain what they are for!

    I want to create custom reports with the amount of session per service per day in my VS.

    Some idea in which tables can I find it?

    You should be able to get that information from the OOTB Reports as well instead of going the Database tables route.

     

    DevTest Portal --> Reporting  --> Virtual Service Metrics --> Daily Transaction Counts

    Select the time frame that you want. You will get a snapshot of all the VS along with their transaction counts.

    As a bonus you also have the ability to export the results in a PDF and CSV format

    Oh, it will also help. But if I need to know which transaction was called in this VS.

    This metric given the only count of the transaction.
