CA TDM & CyberArk Integration (Create/Update/Delete Connection Profiles)

Hi All,

 

We integrated CA TDM with CyberArk (Privileged Access Management) which let you to create/update or delete connection profiles through CA Test Data Manager Portal and/or Scheduled Job.

Basically, It lets you to create and/or update connection profiles for both TDM Portal and Datamaker. The reason behind that integration need, some of our customers would not let TDM Engineers to know DB passwords, especially if they are dealing with Db2 z/OS.

So, this integration lets, TDM Admins to create/update connection profiles without knowing the initial DB passwords or delete existing ones. This can be triggered through TDM Portal if any new connection profile is needed to be created/updated or deleted.

Daily scheduled job is also running to check if any updated on CyberArk and then update the password of related connection profile.
