Copy F&R Forms to Other Project

Hi,

Is there a way to remote copy Find & Reserve Forms from one project to other project. I see the option to copy Version via Remote copy option to Remote Repository. Similarly is there a way to copy Find & Reserve forms either via Datamaker/Portal or from Repo ?

It is not possible to copy F&R models across projects. F&R models is Portal only feature. Models can be too complex and target projects could have problems that could prevent successful copying (e.g some entities or relations missing). Datamaker supports TestMatch, it doesn't know about F&R models, therefore it cannot copy them.

Thank you. What is the best approach you suggest to mitigate this situation, currently we are planning to have two environments (1 for Dev and other as "Prod" ) and we already have some F&R models created in old environment and are planning to migrate projects from old environment( Sandbox) to New environment ( Customer Facing).I Know there is a process to remote copy all projects and its associated data pools, but we have few F&R models which are heavily used by teams. One possibility is to use the same instance as "Prod" and use new instance as "Dev" but wanted to know if anyone else faced the same situation and how it was mitigated?

Restoring from backup would work if the 2nd environment is the same like the 1st one, except for connection profiles. However both gtrep and orientdb would need to be restored. After that connection profile details updated. F&R 2.0 models would then need to be resynchronized to get data from 2nd environment dbs.

Another alternative is do it through F&R API - implement code that would read F&R model from 1st environment and create it in 2nd environment. API documentation is available on http://tdmserver:8080/TDMDataReservationService/swagger-ui.html .
