  • 1.  License isue with HTTPS services in UFT

    Hello,

     

    Who cna help me out. My team is stuck with a issue and we cannot get it solved.

     

    Here some detailed information:

     

    Steps to execute a service-

    1)Identifying the Request XML message and the Endpoint link of the web service.

    2) Sending this XML to the Endpoint.

    3) If the web service is synchronous, we get the Response XML with data in it and if the service is Asynchronous, we get a blank response XML. Any kind of response proves that UFT can interact with the service.

     

    The issue lies in the step 2 i.e. when we send an XML to the endpoint.

    In our case if we send the XML to Endpoint link which has ‘HTTP’, then the service is working fine and we get the response but if we use the ‘HTTPS’ endpoint link then we get the certificate error in UFT.

     

    RUN ERROR:

    An unknown error occurred while processing the certificate.

    Line (24) ''oXMLHTTP.send strLogonXML''.

     

    RUN ERROR:

    the last run cannot continue due to an unrecoverable error.

    A Certificate is required to complete client authentication

    Line (24) ''oXMLHTTP.send strLogonXML''.

     

    We also tried to use the ignore certificate command in UFT but it didn’t solve the issue.

     

    oXMLHTTP.setOption(2) = 13056

     

    Who can help me out????

    Hi Esther,

     

    I do not think we have you to the correct community yet!  Are you Using TDM, or GTDatamaker, or CA TDM Portal??  That is what this community supports.  Can you provide a screenshot and a version?  We want to help you as quickly as possible.
