  • 1.  Server Installation of CA TDM components

    In a client Server installation for Test data manager 4.7, is it TDM Portal component that needs installed in the Server or others as well? 

    How does Data Maker thick client synch up with the Portal?

    Please suggest

    Hi,

     

         The portal and the legacy components like datamaker connect via the Database (Repository). The components needed to be installed will vary depending on what features of TDM you are going to use will.

    Thanks Keith, On the Server, I have installed SQL Server Database-repository(GTRep, Scramble). On the server machine, what else needs to be installed?. The requirement is to have Datamaker, GT Subset, FDM available from clients and are installed on the client machine.

    We have a constraint of concurrent User licenses and needs Server to manage the license sharing.
