  • 1.  Username  and password for subset export script

    Hello all,

     

    I am trying to run the "extractname_export.bat"  in the subset process after creating the extracts into my local directory.To run this Which user id and password i need to enter??

    You have to use the credentials for the user who has export privileges on the source database. Once this export is complete, you will then run the import scripts with user credentials with import privileges on the target database.

    Hi Anil,

    I am using the CA TDM sample Data Bases for the subset process ,the source and target DBs are in the TDM repository(Oracle).

    Do i need to use the TDM repo user name and password?

    Here's a sample script from the documentation for MS SQL:

    Samples of Script Files - CA Test Data Manager - 4.5 - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    The required parameters are "username password server" in that order.
