TDM 4.4 oracle instant client

Where in the setup is the Oracle Instant Client?  It is mentioned as being provided.  Doing the Repo install which is first, and the machine has no Oracle Client on it.

I was able to install this, I downloaded the latest from Oracle for 12C

 

Basic, ODBC, SQLPLUS (since we  didnt have Oracle Client) and Tools

 

Followed the Oracle Install Instructions and were able to connect to 4.4 Repo

 

I found the TDM Oracle instant client in <DRIVE>:\Grid-Tools\Installers\ODAC112030Xcopy_x64.zip\instantclient_11_2

 

It does not come with SQLPLUS,

I believe its part of the TDM installation. Can you install TDM first except Portal and then try to setup the repository?

Yes Anil it was in the Datamaker install.  Only issue I see is, the repo install needs Oracle to be there, and REPO is listed first in the doc, so it may be helpful to move the Oracle Client there and if the repo install fails, they can use the Instant Client.  Just a thought.

The oracle client was checked off on the DM install, still the repo install does not find Oracle.  Not clear where the install puts it.  No ORACLE_HOME env variable.  I'll contact you

Can you check the path variable or try issuing an sqlplus command and see?

Thee is no SQLPLUS.  IT comes with the client tools.  There was no ORACLE_HOME variable.  There are 2 directories called c:\odac32 and c:\odac64.  This might be it, but I there is no doc on how to configure, so REPO install finds it.
