I understand that Test Data Manager can generate static RRpairs which can be imported into a service.

But could a VSM integrate with Test Data Manager to read responses dynamically. So that the VS could change it's response based on the state of data in TDM - without having  redeploy the service after a change.

And, cope with responses being removed or changed.

    Hi Jason,

It is possible to have Test Data Manager integrated to CA Dev Test Portal by sending RR pairs but other way round is not supported yet.

You can open CA Test Data Manager and export the generated R/R pair to a live virtualized service in CA Dev Test Portal.

    Hope the information helps !!

    Thanks,

    Prasanth.

    Thanks Prasanth.

As this is an export - I'm assuming that responses can only be added, not changed.

To change a response would you first have to remove the response from the virtual service (in DevTest) and then in TDM re-export the changed response?
