CA Data Finder and QTP/QC

Dear All,

 

I am trying to work towards test case automation integration with Data Finder.

 

Is there any material showing examples of using CA Data Finder along-with below testing tools?

 

1) HP Quality Center

2) HP QTP

 

Are there any APIs/functions to integrate these tools with CA Data Finder.

Hi Rahul,

 

Have you taken a look in your Doc folder within your Grid Tools installation?

 

Look for DM-QTP-Integration-Documentation.pdf in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Grid-Tools\GTDatamaker\doc folder.

Hi Les,

 

Thanks for your help. Yes, I have gone through the document and it helps to certain extent.

 

A couple of clarifications required though -

- Document talk about Oracle repository. Are the steps same for MS SQL Server repository?

- QTP integration is explained in the document. Is there any API/orchestration document for HP QC?

There are not API implementations at this time.  Please feel free to submit an Idea requesting this. 

 

The steps for SQL have not been documented.  Once again, these would require an Idea for Documentation to explore and document this.
