  • 1.  TDM Diagrammer unable to connect ?

    Each time I start GT Diagrammer from TDM (actions on registered object), I got a window with error: "Cannot connect to service layer URL - Please check the service is running."

    The effect is that if I create a relationship in the diagrammer, it will never save back to the TDM repository.

     

    All my CA TDM services (TDoD, RemotePublish) works correctly. What should I do ?

    A support case has been opened on this, so we will post the troubleshooting steps and resolution to here once it is resolved.

     

    Typically to resolve this error you would need to start and configure your services:

    • If you get an 'Unable to connect to service layer' error, then you will still be able to continue working with Datamaker, just not Agile Designer and TDoD.
    • To not get this error, check your Windows Services and ensure that the CA Remote Publish and the CA TDoD Service are both started.
    • Also be sure to check that your services are started in the configuration editors as well.
