  • 1.  Harvest on Oracle Linux?

    Hi there!

    Does any of you guys have any experience installing (or trying to install) Harvest server on Oracle Linux? Is it possible? it's Linux after all, so I'm thinking it should work just fine.

     

    Any comments would be much appreciated!

    Although SCM Server on the Oracle Linux platform has not been tested and certified, it is very similar to RedHat Linux, so the installation is pretty much the same.  Chapter 3 of the Implementation Guide will step you through the process.  More information on compatibility between Harvest SCM and other operating systems, databases, etc can be found in the Compatibility Matrix on the support.ca.com website (CA Software Change Manager Compatibility Matrix Index - CA Technologies)
