  • 1.  I need to know how CASCM drives special file types on Unix/AIX.

    I need to know how CASCM drives special file types on Unix/AIX, like Devices, Named Pipes, Symbolic Links and Sockets. Can you help me? 

     

    At this moment, I know that Symbolic links are resolved and loaded into CASCM. But when they are checked out, the file (could be big) is place into working disk.

     

    Can anybody give me some resources to persuade user?

    Hi Harvest Community, 

     

    I found a comparison on wikipedia where gives me more ligths. I shared with the comunity...   Comparison of revision control software - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

     

    Anybody had restored symbolic links from CA Harvest SCM to their original size??? Can you share an script or your experience with this community?

    The special files are not carried by CASCM, except with symbolic links, that are solved and carried into repository.
