    For upgrading to SCM v13.0.3 from Harvest 7.1 there are no extra scripts to run.  HDBSetup can take care of this for you.  I tried this today on my test machine and here are a few notes:

     

    • You will need to install the CACrypto component on your new SCM 13.0.3 server.  This is available on the installation DVD image.
    • You will need to install the 32-bit version of SCM 13.0.3 Server so that the “convpw” component (converts passwords to the new encryption scheme) will run correctly.  It is a 32-bit app.  Once the database has been successfully upgraded, you will then be able to uninstall the 32-bit version of SCM Server and install the 64-bit version if that is what you prefer.
