    Hi,

Just a few questions in our upgrade process to Release Automation 6.7.

We are now using Release Automation 6.5 on RHEL 6 and planning to upgrade to RA 6.7 on RHEL 7 :

    - To install our new NAC and NES machines on RHEL 7 we are first installing them in RA 6.5 :
Our Production environment is using b10035 6.5 patched version.
Is B10035 patch a cumulative patch or do we have to apply previous ones first (eg : b10018) ?

    - Then, to upgrade to 6.6 do we have to be on the last 6.5 patch version first ? If yes, which version is it and where can we find it ?

    - Eventually, to upgrade to 6.7 do we have to be on the last 6.6 patch version first ?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

    Regards.

    Hello,
The GA build number of 6.5 was b10007. Therefore it is recommended to install 6.5 GA, apply the same cumulative patch as that running in production (b10035), shutdown your production NAC and point the new NAC to the production DB. Then introduce your replacement NES, upgrade, etc.

In regards to where to find patches, the patches are no longer available for download. You would need to open a support issue to obtain a copy of the patches.

In regards to patching 6.6 before upgrading to 6.7, this is not necessary. After you upgrade to version 6.6 just give it some time to make sure the upgrade is complete, you can access the UI, run some basic tests to confirm all looks well and then upgrade to version 6.7.

    Best regards,
    Gregg
