Jenkins plugin - return detailed status message

Hi All!

 

Using the Jenkins Plugin we would like to return more than just the failed/sucess (*) status back to the plugin.

Is there a way to return more values back to the plugin. E.g. which step has failed and why (return code/message of the failed step).

 

*) the failed success messge is shown in the Jenkings plugin console output
