    Hello team,

I am looking for something in between a whitepaper and the install guides that would talk about the components of Nolio.

How are artifacts used? Why create  manifest file?

I have installed Nolio and created some in depth builds but I fear that I am doing it wrong by not understand the usage of the two concepts above.

    Thanks

    Bill Patton

    Hello, Bill_Patton.

A good place to start would be the Nolio/CA RA wiki, located on https://wiki.ca.com/display/RA55/CA+Release+Automation+Home.

There you can search for the pages about both those concepts.

I hope this helps. Get back to us if it doesn't.

    Best regards,

    Ricardo Bernardino

As Ricardo noted, the wiki is the best place to start. Please let us know though if you need any specific info that you can't find there.

There's also product training available... Search for courses via education.ca.com or Learning Paths - CA Technologies. Note: individual course pages include links to view full course descriptions, which provide more detail of what is covered in each training.

Following are some FREE web-based training courses, which are a great place to start:

CA Release Automation 5.5.x: Overview 100

CA Release Automation 5.5.x: Application Design Concepts 100

CA Release Automation 5.5.x: Deployment Concepts 100

CA Release Automation 5.5: Installation and Configuration 200

    Happy RA learning!
