Why the export function is not listed in the menu?

Hi,

 

I want to export an application but the export function is not listed in the menu.

I can only see the export function when my role is changed from "User" to "Superuser". Is that correct?

Hi

 

    I just tried this on a 5.5.2 system and created a standard user and the import / export option was available to this user, The user needs to be the application owner or designer to be able to export a particular application. I did notice that the export function is not available for normal users in the ASAP UI. Can you confirm if you are trying to export from ASAP or ROC?  As an FYI the preferred method of import and export is via the ROC.

I actually was trying to export in ASAP UI and as you noted the export option is unavailable.

I tried to export using ROC and everything worked as expected.

 

From now on I will only use ROC for this kind of stuff.
